Quarterly Union Development Coordination Committee (UDCC) meeting held dated on 6th April, 2016 at Shimulbari union hall room with the support of Udayankur Seba Sangstha (USS) and Plan International Bangladesh. The meeting was chaired by Md. Maminur Rashid, Chairman of Shimulbari union. In the meeting NGO representatives, respected government officers, youth forum, child forum, village development committee, marriage register presented quarterly progress. On the other hand they made quarterly plan consisting 100% school present rate, mother and child awareness session through yard meeting, list down child labor in the union, awareness program on child marriage through TFD. There ware 50 participants from different sectors attended in the UDCC meeting. “I thank all members of UDCC and it is our proud that one of our UDCC members Md. Aminur Rahman has been invited to Dhaka to know the process how to declare a child friendly union” said Aminur Rashid UP chairman of Shimulbari in his speeches.
