2 Days Eco fair was organized by ALO project of USS and supported by USC-C, Bangladesh on 18-19 January’2015 at ARC field in Lakhichap union, Nilphamari. Agriculturist Mohammed Idris, DD, Agriculture Extension was chief guest and Md. Shamsuzzaman, Upazila Agriculture officer, was special guest in inauguration session on 18 January at 11 am. Inauguration session was presided over Md. Aminur Rahaman, Chairman of Lakhicap union and welcome speech was delivered by Executive Director of USS Mr. Alauddin Ali. 16 stall was participated in the fair. Name of stall was organic vegetable, seed bank, parma culture, liquid manor, community dhan bank, pre-school, PVS, ARC activities, vermin composed, gender equality, organic fertilizer, jarm plazm, bio-pesticide, market corner, model house and science education in high school level. Cultural Shaw and Drama was presented by Suchona Drama Team. Thousands of male, female enjoyed the fair. In closing ceremony on 19 January at 3 pm Md. Abujar, Upazila Chairman, Nilphamari sador was chief guest and Babu Shamcharon, Chairman (Ex), Lakhichap union was special guest . He gave speech and distributed prize among the winner of essay and all stall initiators.
