After one month training of karate for girls and young women closing ceremony program held at G.R high field dated on 3rd June, 2015. Abdur Razzak Basumia, Chairman of Domar upazila was the chief guest in the closing ceremony. Especial guests were Md. Sofiur Rahman, UNO of Domar upazila, Alauddin Ali, ED USS, Md. Ayaub Ali, OC (investigation) Domar thana, Md. Rezanul Kabir Mukul. Head master of G.R High School, Zakir Hossain, Professor of Chilahati Fazil Madrasha, Rubaiet Hossain Don, ED of SESTEV. The closing ceremony was chaired by Zahurul Hoque Pramanik (Dipu) chairman of Ketkibari union parishad. Upazila chairman expressed his feelings that “it is sign that girls are empowering. They are participating and learning besides the boys and men. I hope this training will help our girls to protect themselves in any critical situation”. Md. Safiur Rahman, UNO of Domar upzila said that, Girls are one steps ached in Chilahati. Good works are happening in the remote areas and these good works are doing NGOs. USS is one of them. I thank for the good initiatives for the girls and young women.
It will not only help them for protection but it is physical exercise and grows self confident to adapt any kinds of circumstances. After the speeches a colorful karate display showed by girls and young women. Upazila chairman, UNO and guests distributed certificate among 22 karate participants.
