Human Chain and Memorandum Submit for Implement Quickly Tribunal Degree of Vested Properties

Parliament of Bangladesh passed the Restoration of Vested Properties Act, 2001 on 9th April 2001. Government has set up a Parliamentary sub-committee under the Ministry of Land to repeal the Vested Property Act and restore vested properties to original owners on December 1998.

LRD and USS has arranged a human chain at Chourongir Mor, Nlphamari and memorandum submit to Prime Minister through DC of Nilphamari on 23 May’2022 for implement quickly tribunal degree of vested properties rights. Mr. Sorwer Manik, President of Bangladesh Human Rights Deferder of Nilphamari district committee & former principal of Moshiur Rahman Degree college; Forida Khanom, convener of Nari Jogajog Kendra (NJK) & secretary of women Awamalig, Nilphamari; Chobi Rani, youth member; Shahnaj Begum, Project Coordinator of USS and Salma Akter, Gender Development Officer of USS were take part in discussion session. A memorandum has submitted to Azharul Islam, ADC (General) absence of DC after mass people signed.
