First round of Girl’s Football Tournament- 2015 with 4 teams and 2 matches has been held on 14 October 2015 in Fultala Bahumukhi High School field, Kundupukur union organized by Udayankur Seba Sangstha (USS) and supported by Diakonia Bangladesh.1st match was played between Palashbari Porashmoney High School and Fultala Bahumukki High School and started at 2 pm. 2nd match was played between Palashbari Girls High School and Kanialkhata Dimukki High School which started at 3:30 pm. Fultala Bahumukki high School Girls football team won the first match and Kanialkhata Dimukkhi High School girls team won the second match. The opening ceremony was presided over by Md. Shahajahan Ali Chawdury, Chairman, Kundupukur union, Kundupukur. Ahamed Ahshan Habib, Upazila Education officer, Nilphamari sadar was present as the chief guest and Md. Babul Hossain, Head teacher, Panchopukur Girl’s high school, Nilphamari Sador and Shuvash Chandra Roy, Convener, Girl’s football tournament’2015 & Head teacher; Kanialkhata Dimukkhi High School were present as special guests. Omor faruk, Ganogabeshona & Training Coordinator, USS, gave welcome speech in the event. Md. Abdul Kuddus Sharker, Education Coordinator, USS Monazzini Khanam, Project Coordinator, PGELKPI- project, Rawnak Laila, Gender Development Officer, PGELKPI- project, Field Animator were present in the football tournament. About three thousand people enjoyed the girl’s football match.
