As per planning, Promoting Gender Equality through Local Knowledge & people’s initiative project of USS organized Debate competition on 25 August 2014 in Dubachuri De-mukhi Dakhil Madrasha and Luxmichap Bhumukhi High School, Nilphamari supported by diakonia Bangladesh. Subject of debating was the “Role of Women is the main factor of the development of the family and society.” Dubashuri De-mokhi dakhil madrasha participated on behalf of the subject and the opposite group Luxmichap high school against the subject. Both team presented their own views, opinions and argument on the theme . At the end Luxmichap Bhumukhi High School won for their high argument and views presentation. Md. Shilem shah Upazilla social affairs officer, Nilphamari Sadar Upazila was present as chief guest in the event. Omor faruk coordinator ganogobesona and training cell, USS, the chairman of school management committee (SMC) were special guests. The chief guest said, this event is very supportive for quality development of students. He gave many thanks to SMC & USS for arranging the debate competition. At last he distributed prize in both groups.
