Action for Impact (A4I) Project under Udayankur Seba Sangstha (USS) organized a Shadow Union Parishad meeting supported by Actionaid Bangladesh at Chilahati on 24 June 2019. The meeting was chaired by Ekramul Haque, Chairman of Bhogdaburi Union Parishad. AKM Ziabul Haque, Upazila Youth Development Officer, Domar; Alauddin Ali, Exicutive Director of USS were present as special guest. Bhogdaburi Union Parishad members were participated accordingly. Total 78 participants were present among of them 35 female and 43 male. This is very new and innovative activity to all. The youth members of different youth group were play role as Shadow Union Parishad member and Chairman. The shadow was very interesting with different learning. Youth are feeling very proud to organize a shadow Union Parishad meeting. After shadow activity, current union parishad representatives were sharing their feeling. Liton Islam, UP member said we see a new activity where gathered more information and knowledge. Sopna Begum, UP member said that this shadow Union Parishad has taught us how to work and organize Union Parishad.
