Jaldhaka upazila administration has organized quarterly meeting of Upazila Child Welfare Board supported by Plan International Bangladesh and Udayankur Seba Sangstha (USS) at UNO office room on 06 December’2023. The meeting was conduction by Md. Kamruzaman, Upazila Social Service Officer and member secretary of Upazila Child Welfare Board. Md. Maynul Islam, UNO of Jaldhaka upazila, Dr. A. H. M Rezwanul Kabir- UH&FPO, Purobi Rani Ray- Upazilla Women Affairs Officer, Md. Aminur Rahman, member of UCWB, Antor Ray, Mim Akter & Basona Ray, Child & Youth Network member and Plan Representatives were present in the meeting. Also Md. Jomil, Project Coordinator; Md. Ziaur Rahman, M&E coordinator were present in the meeting. Participants were describing present child marriage & others situation and they Seeking each other's support to prevent child marriage & Child Violence. UNO Jaldhaka said that it should be remembered that there is zero tolerance for child marriage and child abuse, if you receive such information, you should inform the hotline number or the administration to prevent abuse.
