Awareness show by drama held in Soulmari and Khutamara unions of Jaldhaka upazila dated on 1st June, 2016 support by Udayankur Seba Sangstha (USS) and Plan International Bangladesh. The venues were chosen Harischandrapath of Khutamara union and Soulmari community clinic field of Soulmari union. Members of union child forum performed the drama show on child rights and child protection issues specially child marriage, dowry and child labor. To aware the community people members of the union child forums are performing such kind of awareness show as voluntary so that child marriage can be stopped and children may enjoy their full rights in all forms. CSO representatives, local elites, youth members were present as special guests in the awareness shows program. Near about 300 people in Soulmari union and 350 people in Khutamara union attended and enjoyed the drama show. After observing the drama show Mira Roy, mother of child forum members expressed her felling such a way that “Drama speaks the words of life, reality of society. It helps us how to create a protective environment for our children”.
