USS-ISF Project Staff Training on Country Strategy 2030

Plan International Bangladesh has set the vision “We will partner to empower girls and young women, to be heard, to live without fear of violence and to achieve their right” of Country Strategy 2030. Udayankur Seba Sangstha(USS) has been implementing the Project Titled “Integrated Sponsorship Funded Project” partnership with Plan International Bangladesh since July-2020. ISF project 4 staff of USS has received ToT on CS2030 from Plan International Bangladesh. As a partner of Plan International Bangladesh, USS has organized and conducted the Training on “Country Strategy’2030 for USS-ISF Project Staff” at the CLC Conference room, Jaldhaka, Nilphamari from 04 to 06 January’2022 for achieving the vision of CS-2030. All participants have shared different interesting expectations regarding CS-2030 before starting the training.

Objectives:

1. Empower children and young people as drivers of systemic change to gender norms and power relationships.
2. Promote an enabling environment for girls and young women to realize their sexual and reproductive health and rights and to live free from violence.
3. Raise public and private sector support for young women to access decent work opportunities in the twenty-first-century labor market and have control over resources.

The training was inaugurated by the Sponsorship Program Coordinator (Liaquat Hossain) of Plan International Bangladesh. He said the importance of the training on Country Strategy -2030 and he also thanked to Udayankur Seba Sangstha (USS) for organizing the training and priority of Country Strategy-2030.

Training Session continued in the four groups, ISF Project Coordinator-USS (Md. Jomil) have shared the Vision & objective about the Country Strategy-2030 0f Plan International Bangladesh. And then facilitators were discussed gradually on respective subject of priority LEAD, SRHR & SOYEE following schedule with integration of priorities to empower girls and young women.   

Plan International Bangladesh representatives (Syed Abul Khair, SPC) were also present in the training and gave a clear understanding about the Sponsorship Communication Program including 9 commitment areas.
