USS, Nilphamari has participated in Agriculture & Technology Fair arranged by Agriculture Extension Department, Nilphamari from 18th - 22nd January, 2017. USS had their own organic agricultural stall and portable sale center. On 18th January, after the inauguration ceremony at Nilphamari government high school field, Chief Guest Asaduzzaman Nur, MP & Honorable Minister, Ministry of Cultural Affairs visited stalls. He praised the initiatives of making organic vegetables, varmi compost and organic pesticides taken by USS. Besides, Md. Zakir Hossain, DC, Nilphamari, Md. Zakir Hossain Khan, Police Super, Daowan Kamal Ahmed, Municipal Mayor, Md. Idris Ali, Deputy Director, Agriculture Extension Department, Md. Abuzar, Upazilla Chairman, Alauddin Ali, Executive Director, USS and many other government and non-government officers, reporters and men & women from the civil society were present in the fair.
