Udayankur Seba Sangstha (USS) has celebrated International Day of the Girl’2023 creatively supported by Plan International Bangladesh at Community Learning Center premises, Jaldhaka on 11 October’2023. Youth Learning Center (YLC) youth learners celebrate the even. They have participated actively in discussion session and perform group song, individual song and dance. The theme of the day is ‘’Invest in Girls Rights: Our Leadership and Our Well-being’’. Different products were displayed in a stall near the stage and customers has purchased products from the stall. Md. Jomil, Programme Coordinator of USS provided welcome speech in the discussion session. Monoara Begum, Women vice chairman of Jaldhaka upazila parished was present as chief guest. NGO representative, entrepreneurs, teacher and youth were participate in discussion session regarding objective & importance of the day and what next steps should take of youth for their empowerment. Near about 110 participants were participated including local elites, NGO representative, entrepreneurs and youths.
