Youth Led Eid Gift During COVID-19

In Nilphamari, 15 days food and hygiene kits were distributed among 153 families on May 20, 2020 at the initiative of the youth. Gomnati-36, Ketkibari-26, Bamunia-28, Bhogdaburi-45 and Kundopukur union-18 family were received Eid gift under Nilphamri district. Each family was provided 15 kg rice, 1 kg pulses, 3 kg potatoes, 1 kg salt, 1 liter soybean oil, 1 kg Chickpea (chola), 1 kg detergent powder, 2 soaps, 1 sanitary pad and 1 hand sanitizer. The overall management of the distribution was by the young members of the Covit-19 Emergency Response Team and Activista Nilphamari Volunteers. Mr. Waheduzzaman Bulet, Chairman of Bamunia Union and Mr. Ekramul Haque, Chairman of Bhogdaburi Union are present at the distribution center while maintaining social distance. Action for Impact Project - USS and ActionAid Bangladesh provided overall support to the youth in this activity.
