11 Houses Burned in Khanapara Village of Kaimari Union in Jaldhaka Upazila

11 Houses burned in Khanapara village of Kaimari union under Jaldhaka upazila in Nilphamari district. The incident took place dated on 19th August, 2016 about 3.30 PM. The fire started from the chicken room due to lose connection of electricity. After that 11 families burned within short time. No damages of man and domestic animals especially children were taken in safe place during the firing.

It is observed physically that the members of the families lost their savings, rice, paddy and other necessaries materials for survive. Especially books and clothes including school dresses fully burned. There are 13 school going children in the victim families who do not have books and school dress to go to school. There are also 3 sponsorship families in the victims.

 

Steps Taken:

  • Fire service were called for make the fire clam down
  • Honorable Parliament member, Nilphamari-3, distributed  tk.1000.00 per family
  • Respective UP chairman distributed some clothes among the victims (Shari and Lungee).
  • UNO has visited the place
  • Child forum helping the victims physically to clean the house and damaged materials

 

 

Victims demand:

  • Books and School dress for the children
  • CI sheet for rebuild their houses.
