Gender Equality through Peoples Initiative (GEPI) Project of USS arranged Project Inception meeting with duty bearers supported by Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF) at DC conference room, Nilphamari on 16th June’2019. Nazia Shirin, Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Nilphamari was present as the chief guest at the program. Md. Azaharul Islam, ADC General of Nilphamari, representative of education, representative of women affairs with others Government officials, media and NGOs representatives were also present in the program. There were 41 Male and 19 Female and total 60 participants of the inception meeting. In the meeting discussed about project goal, objectives, location, right holders, project duration, budget, activities etc. Nazia Shirin, Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Nilphamari was said the project match with SDG 5. The ADC General of Nilphamari gave closing speech in the program.
