The Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives, UNV Bangladesh, VSO Bangladesh, UNFPA Bangladesh and WaterAid jointly organized the IVD Volunteer Award 2021 on the occasion of International Volunteer Day 2021. This year, a total of 20 volunteers were awarded. The first 10 of them were given a check for a total of taka 323,000. Miftahul Jannat Bushra, Vice President, Anirban Jubo Sangathan who has capacitated as activist with the facilitation of USS supported by ActionAid Bangladesh from Nilphamari District. She won the eighth place in “IVD Bangladesh Volunteer Award 2021” on 5th December’2021. The award was presented in recognition of her long service as a volunteer in the field of health rights of the marginalize people in Domar upazila of Nilphamari district.
