Gender Equality through Peoples Initiative (GEPI) Project of Udayankur Seba Sangstha (USS) has formed Upazila Support Committee supported by Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF) at USS conference Room on 25th June’2019 for provide support to Union Social Support Committee members, SMC members, victims etc. as required. The program was presided by Md. Sorwer Manik, Ex-Principal of Mosiur Rahaman Degree College, Nilphamari. Alauddin Ali, ED of USS was present in the program. There were present marriage registrars, religious leaders, government service providers, Journalist, teachers, councilor, UP women member and women leaders in the program. Total 24 participants were present in the program. Female 12 and male 12 were among total participants in the program. There were also present Md. Jomil, Coordinator of Agriculture, M&E and Md. Abdul Kuddus Sarker, coordinator of Education of USS in the program. There were discussed about goal, objective, responsibilities of the Committee and then formed of support committee. The program president Md. Sorowar Manik gave closing speech.
