USS has arranged a human chain as a part of ongoing Global Climate Strike because we demand climate justice for everyone issue supported by Diakonia at Dubachuri Girl’s High School under Laxmichap union of Nilphamari district on 22th September’2019 to aware and take initiative regarding the issue. There were 350 girl’s including teachers, USS staffs and other people participated in the program. Salma Akter GDO of PGELKPI project delivers welcome speech at the beginning of the program. Jomil, Coordinator-Agriculture, M&E of USS discussed importance and effect of climate change in Bangladesh as well as earth. Besides Babu Suboth Chandra Roy, Head teacher of Diakonia at Dubachuri Girl’s High School and Babu Chandra Kishor Roy, Associate teacher of Diakonia at Dubachuri Girl’s High School were discussed regarding the mention issue. Juthi Sarker student of class nine said that We lost season due to climate change during discussion session. Vobani Mohon Roy chairperson of Dubachuri Girl’s High School was present in the event. Students and teachers are committed to share these climate change issues to their family members, friends and neighbors.
