Human Chain to Establish Social Protection Against Violence of Women and Children

Nari Jogajok Kendra (NJK) arrange a human chain and discussion session at Choiurongir Mot , Nilphamari supported by Dikonia on 3^rd September’2019. Farida  Khanom, Convener of NJK, Nilphamari; Rafia Iqbal, DD of women affairs department, Nilphamari; Sorwor Manik , former  principal of Moshour Rahman degree college, Nilphamari; Salma Akter, GDO of USS were taken part to discussion. Besides NGOs, NJK members, civil society members, teachers, general peoples etc.participated in the event. Tentative 200 peoples were participated in the human chain. All lecturer and participants express their opinion below -

1. Build strong condition against all type of violence of women and children
2. Activate to establish legal justice
3. Help to survivor to get respective service
4. Help to submit complain regarding violence instead of hide of the incidence
5. Mentality should grow to all peoples that shame is not of violence women, it is shame who involve of violence.

Demand to National Parliament:

1. Made of effective law about sexual exploitation and rape law and remove of barriers
2. Time effective law introduce & revised regarding sexual violence to prevent and protect of women and girls in this regard
3. Law introduces to fill up physical, mental, social and economical loss of women and girls victim.
