Adolescent Forum of Polashbari union, Nilphamari has started an awareness campaign from 25 November-2017 to stop child marriage supported by PGELKPI project of USS. The campaign is covering most of the villages of Polashbari union.
Both boys-girls and men-women are eagerly participating in the campaign. The campaign plans to spread awareness against child marriage to people of every walk of life. People who attended the campaign are now motivated that they will prevent this social disease.
They also discussed the issues of Child Rights. Inspirational songs were presented in order to boost the motivation of the campaign.
Forum member pledged that they will continue the campaign until there is zero early marriage in their union.
They are hopeful to get positive response from people.
