Udayankur Seba Sangstha (USS) & News Network organized a 3 days training on leadership and management capacity building of human rights defenders under "Programming for Supporting Human Rights Defenders Working for Women's and Girl's Rights in Bangladesh" funded by European Union at USS training centre from 06-08 September’2018. There were 26 participants participated of district executive committee members of coccas, Journalists, Newspaper editor, religious leader, NGOs and civil society representative. Md. Imam Hasim Deputy Director of social welfare department of Nilphamari was present as chief guest in the program and principal of Moshiur Rahman Degree College & Nilphamari district coccas president Sarwer Manik was present as chairperson in the inauguration session at 6th September’2018. Alauddin Ali delivered welcome speech. The training facilitated by NGO specialist Joti Vottachario and Salma Akter Gender Development Officer of USS was play co-facilitator role. Training participants visited Community Dhan Bank at Laxmichap union and Nil Sagor at 7th September’2018. Work plan prepared by the participants and ended the training through closing lecture of Sarwer Manik at 8th September’2018.
