To declaration child marriage free union of Ketkibari union an upazila task force committee has been formed dated on 18th March, 2015 in Domar upazila. The task force committee formation workshop was held in Domar upazila auditorium chaired by Mohammed Sofiur Rahman, UNO of Domar upazila. In the workshop 30 were presents from different sectors ei Women department, Youth department, Education department, Social welfare department, Police department, civil society organizations representatives and local elected body of Ketkibari union. In task force formation workshop Md.Ayub Ali, Thana in-charge of Domar said that “child marriage is the threat to grow a child with their potentialities and it seems higher in Domar than any other upazila. We have to stand up against it and police members are always with you to prevent child marriage”. In the workshop a presentation on child marriage was presented from USS part which helped the participants to participate actively. After a long time discussion session a task force committee formed containing 21 members representing important sectors and organizations.
