Udayankur Seba Sangstha (USS) has celebrated International Women Day on 08th March’2020 supported by Plan International Bangladesh following the theme of “I am Generation Equality: Realizing Women's Rights’’. USS R2PPstaffs has participated with government officials and NGOs staffs in rally and discussion session at Jaldhaka Upazila. A colorful rally moved from Jaldhaka upazila campus to zero point Jaldhaka bazer and back to Upazila campus and then participated in discussion. Assistant Commissioner (land), Upazila Agriculture Officer, other officials, Upazila chairman, upazila vice chairman, students, media person etc. participated in the day celebration.
USS has arranged a successfully girl cycle rally at Shimulbari SC. high school at Shimulbari union of Jaldhaka upazila. Girls has moved from their school ground to adjacent bazer road and again back to school and participated in discussion session. Mizanur Rahman assistant teacher (physical) of that school, Abul Khair child sponsorship specialist of Plan International Bangladesh, Jomil Project Coordinator of R2PP project and other staffs of USS took part in the discussion session regarding the International Women Day. Besides discussed regarding International Women Day with the facilitation of R2PP project Community Facilitator of USS at Gabrol Balapara Kachari Girl High school, Khutamara Girl High School, Pathanpara Girls High School, Rashidpur Girls School & College and Rashidul Haque Choudhuri Dakhil Madrasha under Koimari, Khutamara, Mirganj, Dharmapal and Golna union respectively.
