Quarterly linkage meeting with NCTF & Jaldhaka upazilla Duranto Child forum held on 8th March 2016 at Bangladesh Shishu Academy, Nilphmari hall room organized by Jaldhaka upazilla Duranto Child forum by the support of USS and Plan International Bangladesh. The meeting was chaired by Mr .Mozahidul Hassan Sourov President, NCTF. Mr. Mustak Ahmed, District Child Affairs Officer, Nilphamari were Chief Guest in the meeting. Md. Rahidul Islam, Programme Coordinator-POVC, Nilphamari Programme unit along with USS staffs were present as special guests. Shirin Akter, president of Jaldhaka Upazilla Duranto child forum and NCTF member presented their plans and achievement also challenges and learning in the meeting regarding child protection issues. Mr Mustak Ahmed, District Child Affairs Officer said that `` this is a plat form for our children who are representing from different unions to share and linkage with each other. It’s not just only meeting but we are sharing our learning, challenges to overcome the child protection issues. So I think it is a good initiative from USS and Plan International Bangladesh. I cordially thank USS and Plan International Bangladesh for working with children and their protection”. In the meeting upazila child forum and NCTF made an action plan for the next quarter. 25 participants from upazila child forum and CNTF took active participation in the meeting. The meeting was facilitated by Mr. Asik Ikbal Shad, President, NCTF. After the meeting participants met with District Commissioner who encouraged them such kind of social activities taken jointly.
