Sticks and Stones Training Held at Community Learning Center

Sticks and Stones training arranged at Community Learning Center, Jaldhaka dated on 28th October, 2016. Youth representatives from 11 unions and 01 pourashova attended in the day long training. In the training child rights and protection, community based child protection, who I am, How to involve in the protection issues, risk and mitigation measurement topics were covered during the sessions. Small group works, large group discussion, presentation, role play was exercised during the session. Representatives 12 boys and 13 girls from different youth forums participated in the training. The training was facilitated by Md. Abdur Rahim, Technical Officer, Haripodo Roy, CAR-Trainer and Pobon Malo, Project Coordinator, USS, Jaldhaka branch.  “I have received child rights and child protection training, community based child protection training but I found it different from all of those training. I have learned how to involve myself in the protection issues and gently say NO, go and share with whom I trust” said Smriti Rani Roy, Member of youth forum from Kaimari union.
